Candace Houston

Chief Executive Officer

Candace Houston is a native of Mobile, Alabama. A 1984 graduate of W.P. Davidson High School, she studied psychology in college. She entered into the world of media in 1990 as a receptionist and worked her way up to an advertising sales executive and then sales management. In 2009 she founded Nspire U! Events, Entertainment and Marketing Firm, part-time. In 2017 she launched Nspire U! full-time. She and her team plan and manage music festivals, sporting events, expos, business functions, and conferences.  They also provide Marketing, PR, and Media services for businesses. In February 2021, she and her daughter launched the first African American female-owned internet radio Station on the Gulf Coast, Nspire U! On Air, The New Beat of the Bay.

 

Yes, she works a lot! What brings her the most joy in life are her 3 children. Amberly, who serves as COO of Nspire U!, Kyndal, who is a fitness coach and owner of Boom Performance, and her baby boy DJ who is a junior at Auburn University. She also has a grandson and two granddaughters who can have whatever they like!

 

One of her favorite scriptures is Proverbs 4:23 which states “guard your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” In other words, whatever you allow your heart to take in is what will come out. Focus on what is good, positive, and beneficial, for those are the things you want to give to the world! Some of her accomplishments include:

Amberly Harris

Chief Operating Officer

Amberly "Bambie" Harris is the Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Nspire U! Media. She also serves as Creative Director and Program Director of Nspire U! On Air - The New Beat of the Bay Internet Radio Station, which is the first African American, female-owned internet radio station on the Gulf Coast.

Amberly is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Pre-Med. Although she loves the field of medicine, her passion is for the world of media and entertainment. She has been in the media industry for more than 20 years and has gained a vast knowledge of radio announcing, promotions, video editing, marketing, event planning, graphic design, engineering, and event hosting.

Amberly currently serves on the board of directors for Dream Hunters, Inc. and the City of Mobile’s MoonPie over Mobile New Year’s Eve Celebration. Amberly is also a committee member for the Baldwin County Dogwood Trail Program.  Previously, Amberly has been a youth therapist with Compass II Life Mentoring Program.

Her ultimate goal is to continue to help others by keeping them "N-Formed”, "N-Tertained" and "N-spired" while helping people to understand that they can be anything in the world; but being YOU is the best option. Some of her accomplishments include:
